*whew!* I'm posting this blog at the last minute (11:26 pm) of my VERY busy day-- but it's Wednesday, and I did designate this as my pregnancy report day, so I'm following through! (See me? I'm following through. Yay me!)
What impacted me the most today was being TIRED! I really don't know how some moms can spend all day in a car running children hither and yon. I admire their stamina! But I'm half dead, myself! :-p I know I didn't drink enough water today, and I didn't eat very healthfully. Cooking from scratch just doesn't happen when I've been going non-stop, and when the cooking kids are in and out.
We won't go into the feelings of guilt about neglecting the small children-- at least not at this juncture.
So lots of false labor, and lots of s-t-r-e-t-c-h-i-n-g of the belly. You'd think my stretch marks were well established by now (which they are), but I do get new ones every pregnancy, also. FUN! (Not really, but hey!)
Baby is moving well; keeping me up at night, creating great entertainment for the kids. Sometimes it's uncomfortable, but it's also very sweet. I just love the little reminder that there's another wonderful person growing inside of me.
I am constantly amazed at how much of a miracle it truly is to have this gift. I am so grateful!
Number Eleven will be as loved as Numbers One through Ten. "Jewels in my crown!" :-)

I just recently found you on Mega families (we're on there too, as we have 10 children). I'm wondering when baby is due and thinking the "ticker" must not be right since you are having false labor and aren't concerned. See...lots of pregnancies cause a person to recognize these things :) Anyway, I wanted to introduce myself and tell you that I look forward to getting to know you on here. And I look forward to the birth of your baby. My last two were born at home and both were wonderful experiences. Glad to meet you!
ReplyDeleteI love that - Jewels in your Crown. I'm constantly amazed at how much you are still able to get done! It seems like you should be 10 times as tired (and lazy) as I feel LOL. Sure love you!
ReplyDeleteYou're so sweet, Jessi! I sure <3 you, too! :-) And I think YOU are pretty dang amazing, yourself!!!
ReplyDeleteTreasures:I'm so glad you commented! It's been really fun to read about other "Mega" families and how they work. I am due in the middle of June, and I never worry about false labor. Since my second baby, I start having false labor from four months on. :-p
It's good to meet you, too! :-)
