Sweetness and Light

Our Eryn Millie is such a JOY! She's so patient, so calm and unruffled.

Her hair makes me grin!
The kids carry her around and play with her like she's a little doll. She just smiles at them, enjoying all the attention!

Here is brother Ronan's idea of "playing with Eryn."
Lately, she's been teething-- as a result, she drools more, rubs her ears, sucks on her fingers, and gets upset while eating. Poor little sweetheart! :-(

Here she is in "costume," thanks to big sisters.

We're so glad you came to join our family, sweet little one!

Halloween Revelry with MANY pictures: Part Two

Our ward had a "Harvest Festival" in the parking lot, complete with a chili cook-off, a pumpkin carving contest, and trunk-or-treat. Russell and I each entered a different chili, but neither of us won anything. :-(

Super-Gavin as "Batman"!

Bonny as Royalty (We told her we thought she was Katherina from "Taming of the Shrew"! ahem.)

Sweet MacKenna made a darling Dorothy

Dierdre looked so pretty as a princess!

Lovely Morganne as Hermione

Lliam as Link-- he loves this costume!

Avalon as a cute little kangaroo

Costume by Granna, haircut by mom, makeup by dad. Together Ronan is the perfect Aang (The Last Airbender)!

Grayse as a cute bat!

Here's Brennan as the Grim Reaper-- Should I be disturbed by this?

Eryn went as a baby. Original, huh?
And me as "Mother Nature". (Don't mess with me!)

Russell decided to forgo the costume, and went as "the candy hander-outer"

The pumpkin carved by the Beehives
The pumpkin carved by the Laurels (The winner!)
