We traveled to Idaho to attend Russell's grandmother's funeral. It was wonderful to see so many family members as we celebrated Grandma Nadine's full life. What a great lady she is!

I'm pretty sure Grandma was smiling and rejoicing that we were all brought together to honor her and her life.

Birthday Girl Eryn!

I don't know how it could have happened. Where have I been?!

She was just born yesterday-- wasn't she?

You know, I never gave her permission to do this growing up stuff.

But she did it anyway, that clever, clever girl.

I didn't think that I could be the mother of ELEVEN, but I am so very VERY grateful and humbled that God trusted me with one of his sweetest and brightest angels.

And I'm so glad she's mine, even if she is growing up in spite of all my protests!
