Come to the Show!!!

I'm inviting everyone who can to come to see our production of "Fiddler on the Roof (Jr.)" on May 11th at 7pm and on May 12th at 2pm and again at 7pm! If you live in the Valley of the Sun, e-mail me privately (at libermama at gmail dot com) and I'll give you the low-down on location and how you can get tickets!!!

Our Cast Members building set pieces
It's only $5 per person or $20 per family. But each person must have a ticket, and they must be pre-paid. Only the students in the show are selling the tickets, but since there are seven of those at my house, I can set you up with some pretty easily! ;-D

Three Weeks

Only three weeks until our first FULL dress rehearsal for Fiddler on the Roof.

EEP!

The good news is, today's rehearsal went REALLY well. I am starting to breathe more deeply and sleep more soundly. I have a wonderfully responsible lady who's taken over the props and a fabulous couple who have taken the load of the set off my shoulders.

And the kids are really stepping up their game! I am getting to that point in directing where the kids are in complete control of the show.

It feels GOOD.

Really, that's my goal as a director; to give all I can to coaching the actors, and then eventually I sit back to watch their great insights and emotions emerge. We're not there yet, but we're getting close.

It is such a beautiful process to watch unfolding. No rose opening could be lovelier.

Now I'm off to cut out some costume dresses and tape some bottles to make them less prone to breaking.

THREE WEEKS.

*sigh*
